New connection between ITpipes and Novotx Elements XS gives wastewater and stormwater agencies a direct path from field condition data to maintenance, rehabilitation, and long-term capital planning.
SEATTLE, WA, July 13, 2026. ITpipes, a leading provider of pipe inspection and infrastructure data management solutions for wastewater and stormwater utilities, today announced a new integration with Novotx, an Accela® company, connecting ITpipes inspection software with the Novotx Elements XS enterprise asset management system. The integration gives agencies an end-to-end workflow: condition data collected in the field and coded with ITpipes flows directly into Elements XS, where it drives maintenance, rehabilitation, and long-term capital planning.
Public works agencies have long managed inspection and asset management as separate systems, forcing crews and asset managers to re-key data, reconcile records, and work from incomplete pictures of system condition. The ITpipes and Elements XS integration closes that gap by keeping inspection and asset data aligned across the field and the office.
From condition data to capital planning
The result is a single, defensible data foundation that spans collection through planning. ITpipes captures NASSCO-standard condition data in the field. Novotx Elements XS, a GIS-native EAM and CMMS platform, turns that condition data into condition scores, risk rankings, automated maintenance schedules, and evidence-based capital plans. Together, the two platforms help agencies move from reactive, emergency-driven repair toward proactive, data-driven infrastructure stewardship.
The integration arrives as Novotx joins Accela, which acquired the company to advance an end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle platform for local government. By connecting ITpipes inspection data to the Novotx and Accela ecosystem, agencies gain visibility from the point of inspection through decades of operation, maintenance, and capital investment.
How the integration works
The integration covers the sewer inspection workflow end-to-end. Work orders assigned in Elements XS populate a task list inside ITpipes FieldVision with asset attributes and inspection details pre-filled, so crews start inspecting instead of re-keying. Completed inspections upload to ITpipes CoreVision and Elements XS with full asset, asset inspection, and observation detail. Each Elements XS work order maps to a single asset and a single inspection, keeping records predictable, audit-friendly, and clean for asset-level rollups.
Asset managers, engineers, and reviewers can launch the ITpipes Inspection Viewer directly from Elements XS to see complete inspection data, video, and reports without leaving their workflow. ITpipes tracks completion and updates the Elements XS record automatically, eliminating back-office cleanup. Because both platforms are built on Esri ArcGIS, ITpipes also flags GIS attribute discrepancies during inspection so permitted users can push preferred updates back, keeping Elements XS and GIS pointed at the same asset record.
What the partners are saying
“Our customers collect some of the most detailed condition data in the industry, and they deserve a clear path to put that data to work. This integration with Novotx means a sewer inspection no longer stops at a report. It flows straight into the asset management and capital planning decisions that protect communities for decades.” -Ned Bebawy, CEO, ITpipes
“Strong partnerships are built on shared standards and a shared commitment to the agencies we serve. Both ITpipes and Accela are Esri Gold Partners and built on Esri ArcGIS, so connecting them was a natural fit for our customers. Field crews, asset managers, and engineers can finally work from the same trusted picture of system condition.” -Chelsea Ravitch, Channel Sales Manager, ITpipes
“Our goal is to equip public sector agencies with connected solutions that turn data into action. By integrating ITpipes sewer inspection data into Elements XS asset management platform, we’re delivering a more complete, GIS-native experience that helps utilities and public works teams proactively manage assets, reduce risk, and better serve their communities.” -Vito Giallorenzo, Chief Strategy Officer, Accela
